This is a photo of Samuel L. Fellin, my grandfather who came from Italy to Ouray in 1902 when he was 13 years old. He and his brothers operated a Mule Packing business, Fellin Bros., that carried supplies to the mines surrounding Ouray in the early 1900's. He is pictured here with one of his pack trains with the Amphitheater of Ouray in the background. He is the inspiration for bringing the mules into the spotlight of our business. Like my grandfather, we have found the mules to be personable, sure-footed and dependable.

My husband, Tim, and I had a vision to revitalize the Ouray Livery Barn, owned by my family since 1944. This barn proudly stands at the north end of Main Street as the only remaining Livery in Ouray. Our desire is to recall the history of Ouray telling the stories of days gone by with Stagecoach rides on Main Street and Historical Tours of this majestic town.
Experiencing Ouray in one of our carriages is one you won't forget!
